Sky Harbor has numerous options for passengers to pick-up upon their arrival. Terminal 4 passenger pick up areas are located on level 1, north and south curbs. Passengers can also be picked up from 44th Street, at the PHX Sky Train Station. You can wait for your party in the Cell Phone Waiting Lot on the south side of the station.
Your curbside pick-up place depends on the airline your passenger flies in on. Sky Harbor has three terminals; each of them serves different airlines. To see which airlines fly into particular terminals, search the Sky Harbor flight schedule website. You can also check the flight timetable to be sure the flight is on time, so you don't waste time staying at the airport unnecessarily. At Terminal 2, pick-up is on the south curb, while at Terminal 3 and 4 (on the first level) on both the north and south curbs.
Knowing what car, you're driving, the passenger can spot you effortlessly from the curb and quickly get loaded. Ask her about the door she's using, so you can get as close as possible to where she'll exit the terminal. If the passenger is underage or disabled, it is possible to make arrangements beforehand with the air passenger carrier to meet your party at the gate to help you with luggage. Besides, Sky Harbor Operations Assistants can issue Special Needs Permits that allow you to park for an extended time along the curb. It gives you extra time to load wheelchairs or excess luggage.
Ground-level in Terminal 2 serves arrivals. Here you can find the baggage claim area and the ticket counters. Ground transportation stops (bus and rental car shuttle) here. Outside of the ground level, there is also the walkway to Terminal 3 and the Sky Train, including a pet relief area.
The first level in Terminal 4 is the Arrivals level. International Arrivals comes across after baggage retrieval and customs clearance; Services include Currency exchange, paging phones, information counters, and café. There is access to the East Parking levels 4 to 9.
You can find the baggage claim area and other services such as ATMs, currency exchange, and ground transportation options on the first level of the Terminal 4, located at both east and north concourses.
From the first level, it is possible to connect to the North Concourse Doors: 1, 3, 5, and 7 and South Concourse Doors: 2, 4, 6, and 8.
